About Ghana Adventist Possibility Ministries (Ghana APM)

Ghana Adventist Possibility Ministries (Ghana APM) is an officially recognized ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ghana. The ministry exists to advance inclusion, dignity, and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities, individuals who have suffered loss, and caregivers within the life, worship, and mission of the Church.

Ghana APM aligns its work with the global framework of Adventist Possibility Ministries as expressed below:

Mission Statement

Adventist Possibility Ministries seeks to inspire, equip, and mobilize those who have a disability, suffered a loss, or are a caregiver so they may serve God and community as expressed in the mission statement of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Summary Purpose Statement

Adventist Possibility Ministries seeks to bring wholeness to all in a world that is broken. A sense of “wholeness” is not dependent on the elimination of one’s special need, but is a rediscovery of a person’s completeness in God.

Guided by these principles, Ghana APM promotes biblical clarity regarding human worth, grounded in the doctrines of Creation and Redemption. The ministry affirms that human value is inherent and not determined by ability, productivity, or physical condition. Rather, every individual is endowed with dignity and purpose by virtue of divine creation.

Our Core Affirmations

Ghana APM affirms that:

  • All are gifted, needed, and treasured.
  • People go where they are welcomed but stay where they are valued.
  • Value is inherent through Creation and not determined by what a person can or cannot do.
  • Each person is unique and has a God-given purpose.
  • Included in that purpose is the call to enrich the lives of others which flows out of a sense of gratitude for what they have received.

These affirmations guide the ministry’s policies, programs, and engagement strategies across the Church in Ghana.

Ministries We Support

Ghana Adventist Possibility Ministries comprises seven (7) key ministry areas:
